Manuka Honey is a premium, mono-floral honey which is produced by bees that gather nectar from the flowers that grow on the Manuka bush (also known as Leptospermum scoparium) which is indigenous to New Zealand. Manuka honey contains more vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants than other types of honey.

Manuka Honey is significantly different than regular honey that you would normally find at your local supermarket. Only Manuka Honey contains unique phytochemical compounds that provide non-peroxide activity. Unlike ordinary honey, Manuka Honey is also stable so there is no concern of it losing its potency.

Directions for use: Take 1 teaspoon before meals, 3-4 times per day.

Ingredient: 100% Pure, raw, natural, un-pasteurized active Manuka Honey (NPA 16+) from New Zealand.

Diabetics: Clinical studies have shown that Manuka Honey is a better choice for diabetics than sugar. Manuka Honey has lower required insulin levels compared to other sugars and produces lower rises in blood sugar due to the fructose it contains. However, diabetics should always consult their physician before including honey in their diet.
