Pain Relief Cream - Explanation of Ingredients
Menthol: A natural soothing oil with awakening and cooling properties. Brings blood to the surface of the skin to increase circulation. Derived from peppermint oil.
Camphor: Derived from the wood of the camphor laurel evergreen tree. Used as a topical analgesic.
Methyl Salicylate: Obtained from the oil of wintergreen. Relieves muscle and joint pain.

Stearic Acid: A natural occurring fatty acid obtained from vegetables. Acts as a surfactant and emulsifying agent.
Glyceryl Stearate: An esterification product of glycerin and stearic acid. Acts as a lubricant on the skin’s surface, which gives the skin a soft and smooth appearance. It also slows the loss of water from the skin by forming a barrier on the skin’s surface and helps to form emulsions by reducing surface tension.
Cetyl Alcohol: A fatty alcohol derived from coconuts. Acts as an emollient and thickening agent.
Manuka Honey: Derived from the nectar of the flowers that grow on the Manuka plant, indigenous to New Zealand. Contains natural anti-inflammatory properties that help to relieve pain.
Eucalyptus Oil: Derived from the leaves and bark of the Eucalyptus plant. Acts as a natural anti-inflammatory agent.
Polysorbate-80: Derived from sorbitol which comes from fruits. Used as a surfactant and emulsifier.
Hyaluronic Acid: A protein naturally occurring in the deeper layers of the skin. Natural anti-inflammatory agent. Helps to reduce pain.
Ginger Oil: Derived from ginger root. Used as a topical analgesic and anti-inflammatory agent.
Oregano Oil: Derived from the oregano herb. Contains anti-inflammatory properties that help relieve pain.
Hemp Oil: Derived from the seed of the hemp plant. Contains anti-inflammatory properties that help relieve pain.
Cassia Oil: Derived from the Cinnamomum aromaticum evergreen tree. Contains anti-rheumatic and anti-arthritic properties. Improves circulation of blood and brings warmth to aching muscles and joints.
Borage Oil: Derived from the seeds of the Borage plant. This oil contains gamma linoleic acid which is part of the skin's natural moisturizing factor. Used as a natural anti-inflammatory agent.
MSM or Methyl Sulfonyl Methane: A naturally occurring substance that is formed in the ocean. Repairs damaged tissue such as that which occurs in tendonitis. Also used to treat osteoarthritis. Has an anti-inflammatory effect.
Aloe Vera Gel: Derived from the aloe plant with the power to heal, soothe and moisturize. Contains natural anti-inflammatory properties.
Arnica Extract: Derived from the Arnica plant. Contains natural anti-inflammatory properties.
Allantoin: A soothing, non-irritating compound that has the ability to help heal the skin and stimulate the growth of healthy tissue. Derived from botanical extracts of the comfrey plant. Used to heal, moisturize and soften skin. Acts as a skin conditioning agent and skin protectant.
Glycerin: An organic compound that improves smoothness, providing lubrication as a humectant.
