Manuka Honey Soap - Explanation of Ingredients
Coconut Oil: Extracted from coconuts. Used as a skin moisturizer and softener.
Palm Oil: Rich in beta carotene and vitamin E, this oil acts as a lathering agent.
Safflower Oil: Expressed from the seeds of the safflower plant. Used as a skin moisturizer and softener.
Glycerine: An organic compound that improves smoothness, providing lubrication as a humectant.
Manuka Honey: Derived from the nectar of the flowers that grow on the Manuka plant, indigenous to New Zealand. Contains natural antibacterial, antiviral, anti-fungal and anti-parasitic properties.
Sodium Hydroxide: A saponifying agent.
Sorbitol: Derived from fruit, corn and seaweed. Used as a humectant, moisturizer and thickening agent.
Sorbitan Oleate: Derived from berries and other fruit. Used as an emulsifier.
Soybean Protein: Used as a conditioner.
Titanium Dioxide: A naturally occurring oxide of the element titanium. Used as a mineral whitener and to protect the skin from the sun's UV rays.
